** Strategic Platform Partner Account Director

* We are seeking a Strategic Platform Partner Account Director to build and lead a new function dedicated to ensuring Monotype’s fonts and technologies deliver day-to-day value for our platform partners. This team will complement the Global Platform Sales team that is in place.

This role is both strategic and hands-on, designing the global account management model, building a world-class team, and directly managing key accounts. The leader will serve as the bridge between Monotype and its broad spectrum of platform partners (from startups to multi-billion-dollar companies), aligning product-to-product and creative-to-creative engagement while ensuring fonts come alive across their ecosystems.
*** What you’ll be doing****:
*** Build & Lead the Team
*** Establish the global platform partner account management function from the ground up, setting vision, best practices, and operational cadence.
* Recruit, mentor, and inspire a distributed team of senior account managers across design, marketing, e-commerce, and gaming/immersive content verticals.
* Drive a customer-obsessed culture rooted in measurable partner impact and commercial outcomes.
** Customer Success & Value Delivery
*** Ensure Monotype fonts and technologies are activated and showcased within platform ecosystems.
* Lead awareness, training, and enablement across partner product and creative teams, embedding fonts into workflows and campaigns.
* Proactively monitor adoption, usage, NPS and ROI; translate insights into retention and growth strategies demonstrating how fonts drive MAU and retention.
** Strategic Partner Engagement
*** Develop and maintain senior-level relationships across partner product, design, marketing, and creative leadership.
* Align with partner roadmaps to co-create opportunities where fonts enhance user engagement, marketing performance, and creative expression.
* Drive joint innovation and success stories that reinforce the creative and business value of fonts.
* Determine where and how Monotype’s Gen AI initiatives can integrate into the platform’s roadmap
** Renewals, Growth & Commercial Leadership
*** Own the renewal process for global strategic platform accounts, ensuring multi-year engagements are secured with minimal friction.
* Apply commercial acumen to identify and capture expansion opportunities (new product adoption, deeper integrations, new geographies, premium licensing).
* Partner with Sales on upsell and cross-sell strategies, leveraging account health insights to inform commercial negotiations.
* Ensure Monotype is seen as both a creative partner and a growth driver in every account.
** Cross-Functional Leadership
*** Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to ensure platform-specific needs inform Monotype’s roadmap.
* Shape how Monotype’s inventory, AI capabilities, and technologies integrate into design, performance marketing, e-commerce, and gaming ecosystems.
* Drive storytelling and success narratives to amplify value with internal and external stakeholders.

* What we’re looking for:

**** 12+ years in account management, customer success, or strategic partnerships within SaaS, design platforms, AdTech/Mar Tech, gaming, or e-commerce ecosystems.
* Proven track record of building and scaling global account management functions with measurable commercial impact.
* Demonstrated commercial expertise in renewals, expansions, and complex enterprise negotiations.
