ISSO Specialist

• Assist in configuring and managing security controls for Windows, Linux, and virtualized systems.
• Help develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs), Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), and continuous monitoring documentation.
• Perform regular vulnerability scans, configuration assessments, and technical remediation.
• Gather, analyze, and securely store system audit logs.
• Maintain configuration management records, including change logs and account management documentation.

• Active Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of IT security experience within a DoD or federal industrial environment.
• Technical experience securing operating systems (Windows, Linux) and virtualization technologies (VMware).
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards, including RMF, DISA STIGs, NISPOM, and DAAPM.
• Experience utilizing vulnerability scanning and system auditing tools.
• Security+ certification, or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire.

• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• Experience with tools such as Splunk, ACAS, Nessus, OpenRMF, or McAfee ePO.
• DoD 8570/8141 compliant certifications.

• Active Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
