Litigation Associate - Construction Law Base pay range

OverviewA respected law firm with a focused construction law practice is looking to hire a Litigation Associate with 3+ years of litigation experience. This role offers hands‑on involvement in complex construction‑related disputes, including contract issues, claims, and litigation arising from public and private projects. Prior construction law experience is helpful but not required; the firm is open to candidates with strong general litigation backgrounds who are interested in developing construction law expertise.
This position requires an in‑office presence at least four days per week.
Responsibilities• Manage and litigate construction and commercial disputes; lead case strategy and oversight of litigation proceedings; analyze complex contractual issues; draft pleadings, discovery, and settlement proposals; collaborate with client counsel and experts; and provide strategic guidance on risk management.
Qualifications- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active admission to the Massachusetts Bar (required)
- 3-5 years of litigation experience in a law firm or similar setting
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
- Interest in construction law and complex commercial disputes
