Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Manager, Hospital Repackaging to lead our hospital repackaging operations and play a hands‑on role in delivering safe, compliant, high-quality products to our customers.

The Manager, Hospital Repackaging is a hands‑on, working manager responsible for leading hourly production teams while proactively driving daily production goals. This role oversees both solid and liquid repackaging operations, managing people, processes, and systems to ensure safety, quality, service, and cost objectives are achieved.

This position requires a strong on‑floor presence and close collaboration with Operations and Quality to maintain FDA compliance and cGMP standards while continuously improving performance.

Note:
This is a split 2nd/3rd shift role, hours 7pm to 3am Monday through Friday.

People Leadership & Development
  • Lead, train, coach, and develop Hospital Repackaging technicians and department leads.
  • Direct daily production priorities and identify ongoing training needs.
  • Foster an inclusive, accountable, and high‑engagement team culture aligned with Safecor Health values.
Operations & Performance
  • Ensure daily production and quality goals are consistently met.
  • Maintain and report key production metrics and KPIs for senior leadership.
  • Respond to and resolve day‑to‑day production challenges that could impact service delivery.
  • Manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced, 24/7 production environment.
Safety, Quality & Compliance
  • Maintain a safe workplace and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.
  • Partner closely with Quality to ensure FDA compliance, proper line clearance, label verification, and adherence to cGMP requirements.
  • Support and reinforce best‑in‑class pharmaceutical packaging practices.
Continuous Improvement
  • Support Lean initiatives and continuous improvement efforts, including SOP development and standard work.
  • Act as a change agent by identifying opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality.
  • Train employees on operational procedures, methods, and systems.
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing hourly teams.
  • Experience in a high-volume, 24/7 production setting.
  • Healthcare or healthcare manufacturing experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong understanding of FDA, cGMP, and pharmaceutical packaging regulations.
  • Proven ability to lead teams across multiple shifts and operational demands.
  • Effective problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement timely solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage rapidly evolving priorities.
  • Comfortable working beyond scheduled hours as needed (evenings/weekends).
  • Working knowledge of Windows‑based systems and mechanical packaging equipment.
