Compounds Technician First Shift

Job Summary

Seeking a Compounds Technician on 1st shift for a high growth manufacturing company in the Woburn, MA area.

Location:

Woburn, Massachusetts.

The Compounds Tech would be responsible for working with chemicals where they will mix, dispense, and label batches according to specifications. Some of the day-to-day functions include weighing up, mixing, dispensing, packaging, and labeling of compound materials.

• Read work orders and batch cards to determine production specifications.
• Precision weigh liquids, adhesives, paint, and other conductive chemicals.
• Mix materials according to batch card requirements.
• Dispense material into appropriate containers.
• Print and apply labels and complete basic product packaging.
• Record production information using the "Day by Hour" method.
• Perform quality checks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and sustain the Safety and 5S programs.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
