Electronics Technician

You will report directly to the Operations Manager and will work out of our Woburn, MA location on an on‑site schedule with a standard work schedule. In this role you will perform operational testing on a variety of moderately complex RF and microwave production components, including set‑up, calibration, testing, troubleshooting of instruments, RF and DC circuits, assemblies and other systems. You will work on low to medium‑complexity hardware under general supervision and support engineering and other teams to ensure our products meet functional requirements and delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities- Determine compliance to test specifications, using methods and procedures from drawings, standard work and diagrams.
- Assists in selection and set‑up of specialised test equipment.
- Provides guidance to entry‑level production test technicians and support workers in the execution of production testing tasks.
- Measures medium‑complexity hardware.
- Maintains required certifications.
- Strengthens knowledge of the CAES 6S framework and actively participates in 6S initiatives.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 0–1 year of experience as a Test Technician in a manufacturing/electronics environment.
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, time‑keeping system, ERP system, routing, etc.).
- Detail‑oriented with good manual and eye dexterity.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and embrace new challenges.
- Willingness to take on diverse projects and work with different teams.
- HS Diploma or GED and additional training or specialised certification.
- 1–2 years’ experience as a Test Technician in a manufacturing/electronics environment.
- Experience in defense, aerospace, or military industry.
- Good manual dexterity and willingness to work using a microscope and small hand‑tools.
- Basic computer skills:
Microsoft Office Suite, ERP Systems, etc.
- Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, small tools, or controls.
- Reach with hands and arms.
- Occasional standing or walking for prolonged periods; frequently required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Repeat the same movements.
- Occasional lifting of light items 5–10 pounds; occasional lifting of items 30 pounds or more requires automation or a second person.
- Make quick, precise adjustments to machine controls.
- Sitting at times, looking through a microscope.
