Position: Weekend Shift Pharmaceutical Packaging Technician - 7:00pm-7:00am- Saturday and Sunday ONLY

Weekend Shift Pharmaceutical Packaging Technician (7:00pm-7:00am, Sat & Sun Only)

Safecor Health seeks a dedicated Weekend Shift Packaging Technician to ensure safe, high‑quality unit‑dose medications for our hospital customers. This temporary position runs through spring 2026, with potential change. Availability to train up to two weeks starting at 2:00pm is required.

Responsibilities
  • Unit‑Dose Packaging:
    Perform all unit‑dose medication packaging, completing daily orders as required.
  • Workstation Maintenance:
    Keep the workstation stocked with all supplies needed to fulfill services efficiently.
  • Equipment Maintenance:
    Conduct daily preventive maintenance on packaging equipment, including necessary adjustments and troubleshooting.
  • Labeling:
    Generate accurate packaging labels in accordance with specifications and verification procedures, adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • Compliance:
    Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP) in line with cGMP and relevant regulatory standards to maintain safety and quality.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in packaging or related field preferred.
  • Experience in a packaging or manufacturing environment, especially in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict regulatory standards.
  • Ability to operate packaging equipment and perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • A commitment to quality, safety, and patient care, with a desire to continuously improve processes and outcomes.
  • Ability to lift up to 10lbs., push, pull, bend, twist, stand and sit throughout the day, as needed.
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification a plus.
