Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and observant Security Officer to join Signal of New England. This role primarily involves outdoor, exterior foot patrol duties, including monitoring parking lot activity, deterring unauthorized building entry during off-hours, and overseeing contractor access to the property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine foot patrols around the interior/exterior of the property
  • Maintain visibility in the building and parking lot to deter suspicious or unwanted activity
  • Ensure no unauthorized individuals enter the building during off-hours
  • Monitor and log the entry/exit of contractors during active work periods
  • Provide accurate, timely incident reports and updates as needed
  • Maintain communication with supervisors and other personnel as required
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of security experience, especially in access control and residential security
  • Strong situational awareness and attention to detail
  • Ability to remain on foot for extended periods and conduct frequent patrols
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to intake information quickly and report incidents clearly and concisely
