Our Industrial Security team in Woburn, MA is seeking an Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) to support Facility Security Officer (FSO) duties under 32 C.F.R. Part 117, National Industrial Security Program (NISP). You will conduct security self-inspections, apply risk mitigation, support customer assessments, and implement security measures to meet requirements.

• Work with the 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117, NISP, and other relevant DoD security guidance to implement/continue a security program.
• Maintain employee Foreign Travel Reporting per 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117.
• Coordinate with government and industry oversight agencies to facilitate inspections/audits of security programs and systems.
• Manage prime / subcontract DD-254 forms (Contract Security Classification Specifications) and the National Industrial Security System (NISS).
• Develop and establish an effective security awareness, training, and education program.
• Conduct initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre- / post-foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings as appropriate.
• Assist with OPSEC and Critical Information List training.
• Assist with security violations and prepare reports detailing procedures to preclude future occurrences.
• Collaborate closely with Physical, Cyber, Security Business Partners and Special Programs where needed.

• Typically requires: a University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a Security or related field.
• Two years of Facility Security Officer (FSO) or Assistant FSO experience.
• National Industrial Security Program experience.
• Experience interacting with DoD and cognizant security agency personnel and varying levels of leadership.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, STEM, or Business.
• Ethics and integrity; strong collaboration, time management, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Experience in a large multinational matrixed organization.
• FSO Certification for a classified facility.

• Salary range and benefits:
  The salary range is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD, with standard benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, flexible spending accounts, paid time off, holidays, and more depending on the business unit.
