Journeyman Electrician – Freedom Forever

Location: Woburn, MA

Salary: $50-55/hr DOE, plus install bonuses.

We’re Freedom Forever, a solar company committed to safety, quality and innovation. We are hiring an experienced journeyman electrician to join our installation team and help deliver high‑quality solar services to residential customers.

• Follow safe work practices and ensure that the work is performed in a workmanlike manner, compliant with all state and local codes and standards.
• Follow OSHA, NEC, AHJ and utility requirements.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system components to resolve electrical issues.
• Provide quality customer service throughout the installation.
• Document work by taking pictures and completing work orders.
• Upload photos and update job status in the company database when work is complete.
• Apply strong knowledge of conduit bending (EMT) to consistently produce quality work.

• Journeyman electrician license required.
• Qualified to drive a company vehicle during the workday.
• Minimum 3 years of electrical installation and repair experience.
• Strong knowledge of current NEC codes.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain it.
• Use time‑prioritization skills to achieve required timelines.
• Ability to read and interpret single and three‑line drawings.
• High school diploma or GED.

• Hand and finger use for handling tools and objects.
• Precise machine and control adjustments.
• Stand, walk, run for long periods of time.
• Climb ladders, scaffolds, or poles.
• Repeatedly kneel, stoop, crouch, bend, stretch, twist, crawl, or reach.
• Visual acuity for details less than a few feet away and color discrimination.
• Maintain balance in unstable positions.
• Lift and carry heavy objects up to 50+ pounds.
