Senior full stack software engineer​/robotics operating systems

A fast-growing robotics startup is transforming the tire service industry through automation, combining robotics, software, and AI to modernise tire changing and wheel balancing operations. The organization is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to help architect, build, and scale the software systems that power its autonomous robotics platform.

The successful candidate will work across the entire software ecosystem, building operator-facing applications, cloud-native services, robotics tooling, monitoring dashboards, and intelligent decision-making systems that directly influence autonomous robotic performance. • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong experience with Type Script and React for modern web application development
• Professional experience developing backend services with Go and/or Python
• Experience designing and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS
• Hands-on experience with robotics software development
• Strong proficiency in C/C++
• Experience working with ROS (Robot Operating System)
• Experience building scalable APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
• Familiarity with software architecture, system design, and performance optimization
• Experience developing monitoring, observability, and operational tooling
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, CI/CD, testing, and version control
• Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative startup environment

• Experience working with autonomous systems, machine learning, or AI-driven decision-making platforms
• Experience integrating software with sensors, actuators, and industrial hardware
• Knowledge of real-time systems and robotics communication protocols
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and Dev Ops practices
• Experience with computer vision or perception systems
• Prior experience at startups or early-stage technology companies
• Experience building operational dashboards and analytics platforms
