Position: Accounts Assistant - Contract

The Accounts Assistant role in the retail industry involves supporting the accounting and finance department with various administrative and financial tasks. This temporary position in Woking requires attention to detail and the ability to assist in maintaining accurate financial records.

Description
  • Assist with processing invoices and reconciling accounts.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and ensure data integrity.
  • Respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting team as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
  • Help identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
Profile
  • Previous experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
  • A basic understanding of accounting principles and processes.
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Offer

A salary of up to £30,000, benefits and hybrid working. This role will be a 12 month contract, with the potential of going permanent.
