Senior Financial Reporting Manager

Marc Daniels are recruiting for a Financial Control & Reporting Manager to join a high-profile, fast-paced organisation on an 18 month fixed-term contract.

This is a broad and highly visible role within the finance team, offering the opportunity to take ownership of financial reporting and control across multiple entities while working closely with senior finance leadership.

The position combines technical accounting, statutory reporting, audit, financial control and team management, making it an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking to take on greater responsibility within a complex organisation.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the month-end close and financial reporting process across multiple entities

• Ensure accurate reporting, strong balance sheet control and robust financial governance

• Lead statutory accounts preparation and manage the external audit process

• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex and judgemental matters

• Drive high standards across financial controls, processes and compliance

• Identify opportunities to improve and streamline finance processes

• Support ongoing finance systems and ERP developments

• Partner with senior stakeholders across finance and the wider business

• Lead, coach and develop a team of three

The successful candidate:

• ACA or ACCA qualified

• Strong financial reporting, financial control and technical accounting experience

• Excellent understanding of statutory reporting, audit and UK accounting standards

• Experience working within a complex or multi-entity environment

• Strong balance sheet and month-end reporting experience

• Previous experience managing or developing a team

• Confident stakeholder management and communication skills

• Strong Excel and financial systems capability
