Office Manager

Location:

Reading Salary: £34,000 - £38,000 DOE

Hours:

Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, with a 4:00pm finish on Fridays Full Time | 36 hours per week The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced and proactive Office Manager to take ownership of the efficient running of a busy Reading office. This is a varied, hands-on role covering office management, HR administration, finance, Health & Safety, quality and compliance . You will work closely with senior leadership and have the autonomy to manage priorities, resolve issues and identify improvements.

Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day running of the office, facilities, suppliers and contractors. Act as a key point of contact for staff, visitors and clients. Coordinate onboarding, inductions, training, holiday and absence administration. Manage timesheets, expenses, invoicing and purchase ledger administration. Lead office Health & Safety, including risk assessments, DSE checks, audits and incident reporting. Support the Business Management System and ISO 9001 requirements, including audits and document control.

Coordinate IT equipment and new starter setup. Provide administrative and project support to senior leaders. About You Previous experience in an Office Manager, Business Operations or similar autonomous role .

Experience with Health & Safety and compliance within an office environment. Experience working with ISO 9001 or another formal management system . Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Confident working with senior stakeholders. Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams. Comfortable handling confidential information and managing multiple priorities. Apply now!
