We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Diagnostic Vehicle Technician, based in Woking, Surrey. This role is ideal for highly skilled technicians specialising in diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and high-performance tuning. The successful employee will join a respected automotive centre renowned for technical excellence and ongoing development.

Duties of the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:

Diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicle issues across multiple makes and models
Conducting complex mechanical repairs, including transmission and differential rebuilds
Implementing performance upgrades such as remapping, rolling road tuning, and track preparation
Ensuring diagnostics are completed efficiently and accurately to optimise workflow
Providing technical solutions to complex vehicle systems problems
Maintaining high standards of quality and safety in all work carried out Requirements of the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:

Proven experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician in a professional environment
Extensive knowledge of vehicle systems, including transmissions and differentials
Strong mechanical engineering skills with a focus on diagnostics and repairs

Experience with high-performance tuning and motor sport-related work is desirable
Relevant qualifications, such as Master Technician, Diagnostic Technician, or Motor Engineer status
A passion for cars, motor sport, and technical innovation
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
