An excellent opportunity has come available for an Intermediate / Project Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and growing property and construction consultancy, to be based out of either their Bournemouth or Woking office, with hybrid working.

The business operates across a wide range of public and private sector projects throughout London, the South Coast and the West Country. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to strengthen their cost management team with an intermediate or project-level Quantity Surveyor. Full support towardsRICS APCis provided, alongside long-term career progression.

Role & Responsibilities of the Intermediate / Project Quantity Surveyor:
  • Undertaking feasibility studies and preparing cost plans
  • Compiling tender enquiries and managing tender processes
  • Tender analysis and contract negotiations
  • Risk and value management assessments
  • Contract administration during the construction phase
  • Valuing applications for payment and preparing cost reports
  • Final account negotiation and project close-out
  • Fund monitoring and chairing meetings where required
Skills &

Experience of the Intermediate / Project Quantity Surveyor:
  • Assistant QS looking for the next step, or an Intermediate / Project QS
  • Degree educated (or equivalent), not necessarily in Quantity Surveying
  • Good understanding of construction methodologies and processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Consultancy or client-side experience preferred
Salary & Benefits:
  • £30,000 – £55,000 DOE
