Mechanical Estimator Surrey - Office Based £50,000-£75,000 DOE A well-established Mechanical Building Services contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join its growing commercial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for pricing a range of commercial mechanical projects, with tender values typically ranging from £100,000 to £2 million. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Estimator looking to join a growing business with a strong pipeline of commercial work.

The Role Working from the company's London office, you will manage the estimating process from initial enquiry through to tender submission, ensuring bids are accurate, competitive and commercially viable. You'll work closely with clients, consultants, suppliers and the wider project team to understand project requirements and develop detailed mechanical tenders.

Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed mechanical estimates for commercial projects. Manage tenders ranging from £100,000 to £2 million . Review drawings, specifications, schedules and tender documentation. Identify project requirements, risks, exclusions and opportunities. Obtain and analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations. Produce accurate and competitive tender submissions. Carry out material and labour pricing. Liaise with clients, consultants and suppliers to clarify tender requirements.

Attend tender meetings and site visits where required. Review designs and identify value engineering opportunities. Work closely with the Project Delivery and Commercial teams to ensure a smooth handover following successful tenders. Maintain accurate estimating records and continually monitor market costs. Experience & Requirements Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator within the Building Services sector. Strong background pricing commercial projects .

Experience estimating projects from approximately £100,000 to £2 million . Strong understanding of mechanical building services. Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and technical information. Experience obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations. Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
