About the Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored assistance to students with a range of learning difficulties and complex needs. Your role will involve working on a one-to-one basis and in small groups to help pupils access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support students with special educational needs in their learning and development

* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

* Implement individual learning plans and behaviour management strategies

* Provide emotional and pastoral support to students

* Foster a nurturing and positive learning environment

Requirements:

* Experience working with children with SEN is desirable but NOT essential

* A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting learners

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
