Job Description:

Plan and deliver lessons on sociological theories, research methods, social institutions, culture, inequality, and global issues. Develop curricula and teaching materials that engage diverse learners. Facilitate class discussions, debates, and activities that encourage analytical thinking and sociological inquiry. Assess student learning through assignments, quizzes, projects, and examinations. Provide constructive feedback and academic support to students. Integrate current events, case studies, and real-world examples into lessons.

Maintainaccuraterecords of student progress and attendance. Manage classroombehaviorand create a positive, inclusive learning environment. Stay current with developments in sociology and incorporate relevant content into teaching. Communicate with parents, guardians, or academic advisorsregardingstudent performance (if teaching in a school setting).
