Learning Support Assistant Valley End C of E Infant School
• Woking, Surrey
We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs.
This role is for 28 hours per week, term time only. Hours are 8.30am until 3.00pm for four days and 10.30 am until 3.00pm for 1 day. The role is fixed term until July 2026.
There is also scope for additional hours after school to assist with our popular extended care club.
The actual annual salary given for 28 hours per week is £15,353.00
The role will include:
- 1:1 assistance with SEN children
- small intervention group work
- Some support in class alongside a class teacher
- Playground duties at playtime and lunchtime.
The successful candidates will work within a hardworking, dedicated and friendly team. There are excellent opportunities professional development and there is strong support for staff welfare.

- be an effective team member
Knowledge and experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs is desirable but not essential.
You must be able to support the distinctive Christian ethos of the school but you do not have to be a practising Christian. Valley End CofE Infant School is part of The Good Shepherd Trust.
