Hours: 31.25 hours per week term time only, 185 days per year (37 weeks). This is a fixed term contract until 20th July 2027.

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 8:35 to 15:15 (including an unpaid 25 minute break)

Actual Annual Pro-rata Salary: £17,802.67 (FTE £25,133, Grade 3.3)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Classroom Support Staff to join our friendly team. The work may include a mixture of one to one and paired or small group work, both in and out of the classroom setting and lunchtime supervision. Previous experience of working in a school would be desirable but not essential.

Your role will be:
  • To support the class teacher with their responsibilities for the development and education of children, including those with special needs
  • To support a specific child with additional needs
  • To use routine supervision and care skills, to support pupils, including those who have physical, medical, emotional, or educational needs as required
  • To prepare the learning environment and carry out daily checks
  • To build relationships with children and their families
  • To attend In-service Training as required
