Horizon Teachers is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a SEN school located in Guildford. This full‑time position starting September will initially be long term through Horizon Teachers, with the opportunity to become a permanent staff member.
The school is a SEN School specialising in supporting pupils with speech and language difficulties.

Criteria for this role- Display a genuine desire to join a committed team of SEND staff.
- Possess a passion for supporting children with mild learning difficulties.
- Have prior experience working with children with special educational needs.
- Demonstrate commitment and professionalism in your work.
- Exhibit strong organisational skills, enthusiasm, and a proactive attitude.
- We offer our support staff the highest rates up to 600 per week.
- Horizon Teachers is committed to ensuring our staff are happy in their roles.
- We offer a FREE Safeguarding Course online to support you in your work in an educational setting.
- You will be paid the permanent equivalent for the job after 12 weeks, in many cases from day one.
- Many of our consultants have experience in the education sector and a strong passion for supporting schools, support staff and teachers.

As part of our registration process, you'll need an enhanced DBS check and we'll need to see and copy your original qualifications before any placement. Teaching roles require Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
