Sports Coach; Cricket and Hockey Specialist

About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Gordon's School, one of the most successful schools in England, as a Cricket and Hockey Coach.

Sport is an integral part of the School's vision to be the best non-selective school in England and amongst the finest schools in the world. Academic success will gain young people their first job, or place at University; but it is the character acquired on the games field and in other co-curricular activities which will sustain them through life. With more than 90 teams, the School plays annually over 600 fixtures, across more than 20 sports.

Many teams compete at National level.

We are seeking a highly motivated and inspirational Sports Coach to work co-operatively with the Head of Cricket and Hockey, and the rest of the PE department. The successful candidate will have experience of playing both Cricket and Hockey to a high level, including experience of coaching within schools, clubs, the England pathway or a super league franchise, and will have excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate others.

Hours:

Typically up to 6.5 hours per week, the hours will usually be 4pm to 6pm throughout the week and Saturday mornings 9am - 1pm.
