Vehicle Technician
Location:
Bisley
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to carry out mechanical maintenance, fault‑finding, and overhaul activities on rotating and static equipment within an industrial engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform planned and reactive mechanical maintenance on motors, gearboxes, pumps, and associated equipment.
- Carry out mechanical overhauls, alignment, dismantling, and reassembly to OEM standards.
- Diagnose mechanical faults, including wear, misalignment, and vibration‑related issues.
- Complete maintenance documentation using CMMS systems.
- Work safely under Permit to Work, LOTO, and site safety procedures.
- Operate lifting and access equipment where required.
- NVQ Level 3 or above in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial or engineering environment.
- Strong fault‑finding skills and safety awareness.
- This role may involve shift work, shutdowns, and emergency call‑outs.
