We’re working with a growing engineering and manufacturing businesslooking for an experienced
Test Operator with a strong electronics background.
A hands-on position testing complex electronic equipment, fault-finding and ensuring products meet quality standards.
Key responsibilities:- Test electronic equipment and components
- Complete test reports and record faults
- Fault-find using oscilloscopes, DMMs and PSUs
- Read schematics and wiring diagrams
- Support test equipment maintenance
- Work with Engineering and Production
- Contribute to continuous improvement
- 5 years’ electronics testing experience
- Strong analogue and digital electronics knowledge
- Experience in a low-volume, technical test environment
- Confident using test equipment
- Able to read electrical schematics
- Component-level fault-finding experience
- Good Excel / Microsoft Office skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
High-voltage/power electronics, PCB testing/soldering, test plan development, radiation testing, CAD/MATLAB or an HNC/HND in Engineering.
