We Do Group are hiring for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join a highly visible and commercially embedded finance team. This role is all about partnering with senior stakeholders across multiple business units – supporting decisions, shaping strategy, and influencing outcomes.
You’ll work closely with the MD and Heads of Function across a diverse portfolio including retail, marketing, fleet, and transit – contributing to investment decisions, building business cases, and challenging performance in a constructive, data-led way. The business is lean, meaning your impact will be direct, visible, and valued.
WISH LIST- 3+ years in a commercial finance/business partnering role
- Hands‑on experience with investment appraisals and business case modelling
- Confident communicator with the maturity to influence senior, non-finance stakeholders
- Build trusted relationships across marketing, fleet, transit, and retail functions
- Lead on investment appraisals and commercial decision‑making
- Own budgeting and forecasting for cost lines and capital across key business areas
- Analyse P&L and capital spend, providing insight, not just commentary
- Partner closely with the MD and Strategy Director – offer challenge and solutions
- Contribute to tender processes and post‑tender mobilisation
- Develop clear, concise presentations to bring numbers to life for non‑finance teams
- Collaborate on cross‑functional projects and wider business initiatives
- Support business cases for new bids, negotiations, and contract renewals
- Provide cover and support across the wider commercial finance team when needed
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel
- Strong business partnering background – across multiple senior stakeholders
- Experience leading or supporting investment appraisals and financial modelling
- Hybrid working: 3 days in Woking office, 2 from home
