Grafton Banks Finance is working with an award-winning and growing international business, based in central Guildford, to recruit a new Financial Accountant role.

This is a newly created role to bring financial accounting expertise to a growing and high calibre group financial reporting team.

We are looking for a recently qualified accountant, ideally trained in practice, who is looking to make their first move into industry. You’ll need to be technically strong and will ideally have experience of auditing or preparing accounts for groups. Strong communication and problem‑solving skills will be essential.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparation of statutory accounts across multiple entities.
• Supporting with the statutory audit and ongoing audit support.
• Owning month end deliverables.
• Assisting with group reporting and consolidation.
• Assisting with all compliance and control reporting.
• Ongoing support with finance transformation projects including system implementation.

This role will be hybrid working with 3 days in the client’s offices. Salary for the role is up to £55,000 + benefits including 10% bonus. Our client is a growing and successful business with a track record of progressing skilled accountants within their team. To be considered for this role you must be available at 1 month’s notice or less.
