£55,000 DOE
At least 5 years' experience in a Finance Manager or similar role is expected.
An established and growing organisation is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of financial control, reporting accuracy, and cashflow performance. This role plays a critical part in supporting sustainable growth by delivering clear financial insight, maintaining strong governance, and ensuring financial processes remain efficient and scalable as the business develops. You will work closely with senior leadership and operational teams, providing reliable financial information, strengthening controls, and helping guide commercial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage business costs to ensure expenditure remains within approved budgets
Maintain financial discipline and protect operating margins
Prepare and deliver accurate, timely management accounts and performance reports
Provide clear financial insight to support informed decision-making
Oversee invoicing accuracy, debt collection, and proactive cashflow management
Ensure strong working capital performance and minimise financial risk
Ensure invoicing procedures are efficient, accurate, and aligned with operational activity
Support timely revenue recognition and reduce disputes
Identify and implement improvements to financial systems, controls, and workflows
Drive efficiency, data quality, and scalability across finance operations
Maintain effective communication with leadership, internal teams, and external partners
Ensure financial matters are clearly understood and resolved promptly
Enforcing credit control procedures and payment terms
Challenging non-compliant financial processes
Implementing finance system and workflow improvements
Escalating financial risks or budget concerns where appropriate
Strategic or high-impact financial decisions will be reviewed with senior leadership.
Skills required:
Experience in delivering of accurate, on-time financial reporting
Experience producing effective cost control and budget adherence
Strong credit control and invoicing experience
CIMA or ACCA qualified preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Sound commercial awareness and understanding of operational drivers
A proactive, improvement-focused mindset
Clear and confident communication with financial and non-financial audiences
Ownership, accountability, and relationship-building capability
At least 5 years' experience in a Finance Manager or similar role is expected
