FP&A Analyst

Cricklewood, North London (3 days per week in the office)
Salary:
Up to £65,000  excellent benefits Cedar is partnering with a well-established, large-scale transport business to recruit a Qualified FP&A Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity to join a commercially focused finance team within a business that operates across multiple UK sites and is backed by a strong international parent company. This is a highly visible role where you'll partner with senior stakeholders across the business, providing financial insight to support strategic decision-making.

You'll play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, performance analysis and board reporting, making a real impact on business performance.

Key Responsibilities Lead and support the annual budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes. Produce detailed financial models to support business decisions and investment cases. Deliver insightful variance analysis and provide clear commentary on financial performance. Produce and monitor financial and operational KPIs for senior management. Partner with finance and operational teams to identify opportunities to improve performance. Support month-end reporting, board packs and executive-level analysis.

Develop and enhance reporting through improved use of Excel, data and analytics. About You Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) - essential. Previous experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance or Financial Analysis within industry. Strong experience of budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and management reporting. Advanced Excel skills are essential, including financial modelling, handling large datasets and building robust reporting models.

Confident analysing financial data and turning insights into commercial recommendations. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders. Commercially minded, proactive and naturally analytical.
