Finance Systems Migration Accountant – Sage Intacct

An exciting short-term opportunity has arisen for a Finance Systems Migration Accountant to support a major finance transformation project involving the implementation of Sage Intacct across a group of more than 20 companies.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established finance team and make an immediate impact on a significant systems implementation.

Working closely with the internal finance team, Management Accountants and an external migration partner, you will support the finance systems migration through testing and implementation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the migration of financial data from Sage Line 50, Xero and VT into Sage Intacct.
• Working across 20+ companies/entities as part of the migration project.
• Reviewing and standardising nominal ledgers, chart of accounts and coding structures.
• Mapping existing nominal codes and financial information into the new Intacct structure.
• Data cleansing, validation and reconciliation.
• Identifying and resolving discrepancies and inconsistencies.
• Supporting system testing and investigating migration issues.
• Working closely with Management Accountants across the group.
• Using Excel to analyse, manipulate and reconcile financial data.
• Helping ensure the finance data is accurate, complete and ready for migration.
• Supporting the wider finance team throughout the implementation.

You will be an experienced accountant with strong Excel and finance systems skills and ideally have previous exposure to an accounting system implementation or migration.

• Good accounting knowledge and understanding of general ledgers and nominal coding.
• Experienced accountant with strong Excel and finance systems skills and ideally have previous exposure to an accounting system implementation or migration.
• Experience with Sage Line 50, Xero and/or VT

• Previous experience of finance systems migration, implementation or data cleansing is highly desirable.
• Sage Intacct experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Strong Excel skills, including manipulating and reconciling financial data.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• A methodical and structured approach to data.
• The ability to identify problems and find practical solutions.
• Good communication skills and the confidence to work with finance colleagues and external specialists.
• The ability to work independently and hit the ground running.

• £325 per day
• 1–2 month temporary/contract assignment
