Accounts Assistant

Working closely with the Finance Manager, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of daily financial operations and supporting the wider team during this exciting period of development. Purchase / Sales Ledger duties including month end. Issue monthly statements Monitor aged debt and assist with the collection of outstanding balances in line with company procedures. Process bank payments & receipts Regular reconciliation of all bank accounts Control & process the cash needs within the business including foreign currency requirements.

Assist in preparation of a variety of regular & ad hoc financial & administrative reports. Liaise with internal departments to ensure invoicing, payment, and customer account issues are resolved efficiently. Comply with company policies, financial controls, confidentiality requirements, and data protection obligations. Ensure the finance filing is kept up to date in a timely manner. As a successful candidate you will bring proven experience in a similar finance role, strong spreadsheet and accounting software skills, and a natural ability to stay organised and accurate even when things get busy.
