Assistant Management Accountant West Sussex | £32,000 - £36,000  Study Support A growing business is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to move beyond a transactional role and gain exposure across management accounts, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audit and finance systems, with a clear pathway towards a Management Accountant position.

Key Responsibilities Assist with monthly management accounts, journals, accruals and prepayments. Produce KPI reports, financial analysis and management information. Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting. Perform balance sheet, bank and intercompany reconciliations. Support sales ledger, purchase ledger and day-to-day finance operations. Assist with payroll, VAT returns and compliance activities. Support year-end audit processes and statutory reporting. Contribute to finance systems improvements, reporting automation and process efficiencies.

About You Minimum 3 years' experience within an accounts or finance role. Strong bookkeeping and reconciliation experience. Exposure to month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments and journals. Strong Excel skills. Studying AAT, ACCA or CIMA, or qualified by experience.
