Finance Assistant

Finance Assistant – Temporary 3-Month Contract Salary: up to £28,000 | Full-Time | Immediate Start | Glasgow We’re working with an established Glasgow-based business to recruit a Finance Assistant on a 3-month temporary contract. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid transactional finance experience who enjoys variety and is confident working across both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

You’ll join a friendly, down-to-earth business where no two days are quite the same. The role is hands-on and covers everything from processing invoices and bank reconciliations to customer accounts, payment runs and month-end support.

The Role You’ll be responsible for:
Managing day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Processing purchase invoices, credit notes and purchase orders Allocating payments and reconciling accounts Supporting credit control and following up outstanding debt Completing daily bank reconciliations Processing expenses and credit card transactions Preparing supplier payment runs Supporting month-end processes Producing reports and providing finance support across the wider business About You We’re looking for someone who has previous experience in a hands-on, all-round finance role, ideally within an SME or manufacturing environment.

You’ll need:
Strong Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
