Job Role:

We are looking for a Social Worker with extensive experience of working under the Care Act 2014.

You will have knowledge and experience of Adult Safeguarding, with the ability to think critically and independently to ensure the most appropriate pathways to care and support are utilised.

Experience of conducting S42(1) information gathering and decision making, and Section 42(2) enquiries is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• In-depth knowledge of the Care Act 2014, and other relevant legislation.
• Understanding of person-centred approaches and how to implement them in practice.
• Knowledge of safeguarding principles and procedures.

Essential Criteria:

• Qualification: Recognised Social Work qualification (e.g., BA or MA in Social Work).
• SWE Registration
• Experience: Experience working with adults with mental health issues, ideally in a community or clinical setting.
• Skills: Excellent communication, assessment, and case management skills.
• Personal qualities: Compassionate, resilient, and committed to working with vulnerable individuals. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Car Driver: A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle is required for this role.
