About the role

We’re excited to be recruiting a Data Selections Analyst to help WWF-UK make better use of supporter data across fundraising, communications and engagement.

Sitting within the CRM & Data Services team, you’ll play a hands-on role in turning campaign and reporting requirements into accurate data selections, automated supporter journeys, dashboards and practical insight.

You’ll work with colleagues across Fundraising, Communications, Technology and Operations & People to understand what they need from the data, translate those requirements into reliable outputs and help ensure supporters receive relevant, timely and appropriate communications.

A key part of the role will be using the Apteco suite to create campaign selections, build and improve automated supporter journeys and support segmentation, testing and reporting. You’ll also develop and maintain dashboards in Power BI and Apteco Orbit, helping colleagues understand campaign performance and access the information they need more easily.

You’ll work closely with complex datasets, checking selection logic, investigating unexpected results and identifying opportunities to improve data quality and processes. You’ll also support the import and maintenance of supporter data within Microsoft Dynamics 365 and associated platforms, making sure information remains accurate, complete and trusted.

WWF-UK has recently introduced Microsoft Dynamics 365, is moving towards Power BI as its main reporting platform and is expanding its use of Apteco across marketing activity. This role offers the opportunity to be part of that ongoing development and build your technical expertise across these platforms.

Alongside the technical work, you’ll provide practical support and guidance to colleagues using supporter data, including through the Data Services helpdesk and training sessions. You’ll help make data easier to understand and use, translating technical concepts into clear advice for people with different levels of data experience.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems and getting into the detail. You’ll be curious, organised and comfortable working independently, while also enjoying collaborating with colleagues to improve how data and technology support the supporter experience.
