Graduate Support Engineer

Graduate Support Engineer | Electronics / Electrical | Up to £35,000

A well-established developer of electronic solutions is looking for a customer-focused engineer to support customers and sales across the UK and international markets.

The role now starts with technical advice and product support, using knowledge of electronics or electrical engineering and any systems, IT or configuration experience. It then develops into sales support, customer training and proposing solutions. Full on-the-job training is provided, with a clear development path.

The role

* Provide technical advice and product support to customers

* Use electronics / electrical knowledge, plus any systems, IT or configuration skills

* Support the sales team with product knowledge in customer meetings

* Deliver presentations, demonstrations and technical briefings

* Understand customer requirements and recommend the right solution

* Help resolve technical or application issues

* Visit customer sites when needed

* Support customer onboarding and product training

* Represent the company at exhibitions and industry events

What we’re looking for

* An electronics or electrical engineering background

* Any systems, IT or configuration knowledge would be useful

* Strong communication skills and a clear, customer-friendly manner

* Interest in a customer-facing technical role

* Willingness to learn and develop into sales support and solution selling

* Confidence dealing directly with customers

* Willingness to travel occasionally in the UK and, if required, internationally

The package

* Up to £35,000

* Hybrid working after a successful 3-month probation
