Access & Value; A&V), Outcomes and Evidence; O&E) Manager

As a key player, you will lead the development of an optimized evidence strategy for HTA submissions. Your mission? Identify evidence gaps, prioritize impactful solutions, and, when necessary, plan and execute new real-world evidence (RWE) studies. Collaborating closely with HTA and A&A teams, you will drive our overall reimbursement and access strategy, ensuring alignment with UK launch and global strategies.

At the Manager level, you will have the support of a senior colleague to enhance your research methods capabilities and deepen your understanding of market access and RWE. We are looking for someone with experience in supporting RWE studies, particularly in the UK, who can demonstrate a solid grasp of scientific and methodological approaches to study design.

• Conduct thorough evidence gap analyses and develop corresponding evidence strategies for various therapy areas.
• Collaborate with Outcomes Research scientists to identify patient-centered study requirements for reimbursement.
• Create compelling business cases to secure funding for studies, clearly conveying their impact on reimbursement and access outcomes.
• Lead RWE projects from conception to dissemination, managing vendors or internal teams and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to keep evidence plans strategic and aligned with business goals.
• Stay updated on advancements in UK datasets, analytical platforms, and RWE methods to enhance evidence generation.
• Source or provide training to develop skills in RWE methodology.

• Post-graduate qualification in epidemiology, public health, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in RWE and HTA/market access, ideally within industry or consultancy.
• Experience in observational research using UK databases (e.g., CPRD/HES/SACT) with a strong understanding of study design and analysis plans.
• Excellent project management, strategic, and analytical skills, complemented by strong interpersonal abilities.
• Proven stakeholder management skills to ensure alignment of evidence strategies.
• Ability to adapt strategies efficiently in response to market access needs.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Commitment to ethics and compliance with Pfizer policies and UK regulations.
