Import Export Operations Freight Clerk

• This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced freight forwarding professional with customs entry and freight operations knowledge who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has strong attention to detail within import and Exports Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 Completing and processing customs entries accurately and efficiently
• Handling import and export customs declarations
• Coordinating road freight shipments across the UK and Overseas Liaising with customers, hauliers, customs authorities, and overseas agents
• Monitoring shipment progress and resolving operational issues
• Ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company procedures
• Maintaining accurate shipment and customs records
• Providing excellent customer service and operational support Requirements Previous experience within freight forwarding, logistics, or customs operations
• Knowledge of customs entries and customs procedures
• Road freight experience is essential Familiarity with Boxtop / Sequoia and customs software would be advantageous
• Strong communication and organisational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
• Good attention to detail and accuracy Monday to Friday AM - PM Fully office based
