Hours:

Full Time, 8am - 4pm, Mon-Fri We are seeking a Facilities Support Assistant to join our team in Sheffield. This role is crucial for maintaining the operational efficiency and cleanliness of our facilities. The position is initially for one month, but there is potential for extension based on performance and operational requirements. Day-to-day of the role:
Assist with general facilities and site duties under the supervision of the Facilities Officer or Facilities Manager. Perform cleaning tasks and rubbish collection and disposal to maintain a clean and orderly environment. Conduct general grounds maintenance including weeding, shrub pruning, and upkeep of outdoor areas. Undertake minor repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure the facility is in good working condition.

Handle specific duties such as graffiti removal, non-technical repairs, and vegetation removal. Provide porterage services and ensure security measures are upheld, including opening and locking up of facilities as required. Participate in cyclical compliance activities, such as onsite monitoring of fire and water systems and infrastructure. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Ability to perform physical tasks and handle manual duties. Experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role is advantageous. Good organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions. A proactive approach to problem-solving and completing tasks. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Benefits:
