Role overview

As a Senior Projects Engineer at Cloud Tech
24, you will oversee and execute IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet our high standards. Your role will drive project success, optimize IT solutions for our clients, and enhance client satisfaction. The ideal candidate possesses extensive knowledge of RMM and MDM platforms, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace best practice setup and configuration, cloud‑to‑cloud and direct‑to‑cloud backup solutions, and firewall / network infrastructure setup and best practice configurations.

Working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with a 30‑minute lunch break. The position is based at our Woking head office.

• Lead the planning and implementation of project initiatives.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
• Ensure alignment of project objectives with company technology and strategy.
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients during projects.
• Ensure client requirements are met and manage client expectations.
• Mentor and support the development of junior team members.
• Foster a collaborative and high‑performing team environment.
• Monitor and maintain project quality standards.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.

• Ensure 95% of projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Achieve a project success rate of 90% or higher.
• Maintain a client satisfaction score of 85% or above.
• Ensure high‑quality service delivery as indicated by client feedback and repeat business.
• Achieve a team efficiency improvement of 10% year over year.
• Maintain a high team morale, with less than 10% annual turnover.
• Lead or contribute to at least two initiatives yearly that improve project efficiency or quality.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and ensure team knowledge is up to date.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Senior IT Projects Engineer or similar role within an MSP environment.
• Strong knowledge of RMM and MDM tools, data migration techniques, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, cloud‑to‑cloud and direct‑to‑cloud backup solutions, firewall configuration and network infrastructure.
• Previous experience providing guidance and support to project teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and vendors.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator, CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate) are a plus.
