£40,000 - £45,000 per annum + Overtime (1.5x) + Monthly Bonus (~2%)
Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm (40 hours per week)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced lead CNC Machinist to join our Manufacturing and production Team. This hands-on role involves programming, setting, and operating CNC turning and mill-turn machines using Mazak, Siemens, and Fanuc controls. You'll act as the technical lead for the CNC Turning section- mentoring others, improving processes, and ensuring quality and productivity across the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

Program, set, and operate CNC lathes and mill-turn machines

* Prove out programs and resolve machining issues

* Plan and implement machining processes for new and existing parts

* Lead and mentor machinists, promoting best practice and continuous improvement

* Machine components in aluminium, stainless steel, brass, and other alloys

What We're Looking For

Strong background with Mazak, Siemens, and/or Fanuc controls

* Proven ability to program, set, and operate CNC turning and mill-turn machines

* Experience with twin-spindle and Y-axis mill-turn machinery desirable

* Excellent knowledge of engineering drawings and quality requirements
