CNC Turner Required

We are currently recruiting a skilled CNC Turner for a high-spec precision engineering environment working on complex, high-tolerance components using advanced materials.

Role Overview

Programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes to manufacture precision components to micron-level tolerances in a quality-driven workshop environment.

Initial location:
West Byfleet (4-6 months)
Permanent location:
Send, Woking (Surrey)

Key Responsibilities

CNC programming, setting and operating turning machines

Producing precision components to tight tolerances

Working with exotic materials (Titanium, Inconel, Hastelloy, Duplex, etc.)

Reading engineering drawings and GD&T

Tool selection, machining strategy, and process optimisation

In-process inspection and quality control

Fault finding and machine adjustments

Maintaining strict health & safety standards

Requirements

Proven CNC Turning experience

Strong programming ability

Ability to work to tight tolerances

Understanding of engineering drawings & GD&T

Experience with inspection tools and quality standards

Aerospace / Oil & Gas / Defence background desirable

Package

£18.50 - £19.50 per hour (DOE)

Overtime at 1.5x rate

40 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 07:00-15:30)

Pension scheme (5% employee / 3% employer)

24 days holiday + bank holidays
