This company specialise in precision engineering, advanced manufacturing and innovative technology solutions, supplying customers across a wide range of industries on a global basis. Due to continued growth they are now looking for a Trainee Electro/Mechanical Assembler to join their Assembly team.
In this role you will work within a skilled assembly team, supporting the production of high-quality mechanical and electro/mechanical assemblies. You will receive full training while developing skills in assembly, testing, quality procedures and working with specialist tools and equipment.
This is an ideal role for someone with a strong interest in engineering, manufacturing or practical hands-on work looking to join a company who will invest in their future development and progression.
THE ROLE:
* Assembling mechanical and electro/mechanical components using tools, fixtures and engineering drawings
* Testing and inspecting assemblies in line with quality procedures and specifications
* Working within a clean, organised production environment while following 5S and safety standards
* Supporting wider production activities and contributing to team targets
* Receiving full training with opportunities to progress into skilled assembly and technician roles
THE PERSON:
* Enthusiastic and eager to learn new technical skills
* Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to work
* Organised with the ability to follow procedures accurately
* Comfortable working as part of a team within a manufacturing environment
* Looking for a long-term career opportunity with training and progression available
