We are looking for a hands‑on Mechanical
Assembler to join a busy engineering and manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical assembly or fitting background who is confident working from technical drawings and using a range of hand and power tools.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and repairing a range of mechanical products, including trolleys, steps, platforms, and other equipment, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Read and interpret engineering and technical drawings to assemble mechanical products
- Build, assemble, and repair equipment including trolleys, steps, and platforms
- Use drills, grinders, and other hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Complete work accurately and maintain quality documentation and records
- Follow ISO 9001:2015 quality procedures and health & safety requirements at all times
- Previous experience reading and working from technical drawings is essential
- Mechanical assembly, fitting, or engineering background
- Confident using drills, grinders, and other workshop tools
Working Hours: AM / PM shifts available, with early finish options
Location: Woking, Surrey
Salary: £32,000 - £38,000
