CNC Turner Setter Operator
Location:
Based near Woking
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum DOE
Hours:
Monday
- Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm, 40 hours per week with flexi start and finish times

Syntech Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner Setter Operator to join a leading precision engineering manufacturer based in Send, Woking.What's in it for you?

- Overtime available at 1.5x basic rate

- Setting and operating Mazak and Fanuc CNC lathes
- Manufacturing precision-engineered components to tight tolerances
- Machining aluminium, stainless steel and brass
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Setting tooling and making programme and tooling offset adjustments
- Working with mill-turn, twin-spindle and multi-axis turning centres
- Carrying out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks
- Managing tooling selection and tool life
- Ensuring components are manufactured right first time
- Previous experience as a CNC Turner / CNC Lathe Setter Operator
- Strong CNC setting and operating experience
- Experience with Mazak and/or Fanuc controls
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience machining aluminium, stainless steel and/or brass
- Good understanding of tooling selection, offsets and tool life management
- Experience with Mazatrol programming, twin-spindle/twin-turret machinery, NPI or CNC programme editing would be highly advantageous.
