Production Manager, Production QC/QA
Ready to take the lead on the shop floor?
We're looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join an established manufacturing business in Woking
. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading people, improving production performance and being hands-on in a fast-paced engineering/manufacturing environment.
As Production Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring the production operation runs safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading, supporting and motivating the production team.
- Planning and coordinating day-to-day production activities.
- Ensuring production targets, deadlines and quality standards are achieved.
- Monitoring workflow and resolving issues on the shop floor.
- Supporting continuous improvement and process optimisation.
- Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed.
- Conducting team briefings and toolbox talks.
- Working closely with other departments to keep production running smoothly.
- Providing hands-on support where required within the production environment.
We'd like to speak with candidates who have:
- Previous experience in a Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Supervisor, Production Team Leader or similar position.
- Experience with in a manufacturing, engineering, assembly or fabrication environment
. - Proven experience leading or supervising a shop-floor team.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- A good understanding of quality, health & safety and production processes.
- A hands-on, proactive approach to leadership.
- The confidence to make decisions and resolve production challenges.
- Salary:
Up to £40,000 - Location:
Woking, Surrey (GU21) - Permanent, full-time position
