Charity Trustee​/Treasurer

We are seeking a Trustee who will also act as Treasurer, playing a key role in overseeing the financial health and governance of the charity. As a small and growing organisation, this is a hands‑on role with real opportunity to shape our future and make a tangible difference.

• Act as Treasurer and oversee the financial management of the charity.
• Prepare financial reports for monthly trustee meetings.
• Contribute to planning and decision‑making as a trustee.
• Work with fellow trustees to ensure strong governance and compliance.

• Treasurer or trustee experience is desirable. Although preferable, you do not need to be a qualified accountant, but you should be comfortable working with financial information and able to explain it clearly to others.

GIVE is a volunteer‑led charity supporting people with their mental health and wellbeing. We focus on early intervention and provide safe, inclusive community activities such as organised walks, creative projects and befriending support. Founded in 2020 during the COVID‑19 pandemic as a local volunteer support group, our work helping hundreds of residents earned multiple community awards. We have since grown into a registered charity serving the wider community, and originally set up during the pandemic, GIVE is an award‑winning Surrey‑based charity improving mental health and wellbeing through community support.

As we continue to grow our activities and impact, we are now seeking a Trustee / Treasurer to join our committed Board of Trustees.
