Mental Health Nurse with a minimum 18 months post-registration experience in an Acute setting

This role is not suitable for newly qualified nurses or preceptorship nurses

Priory Hospital Woking has an opportunity for a Senior Staff Nurse to join our team.

Priory Hospital Woking is a specialist addiction, rehab and mental health service, located in Knaphill.

Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.

What you’ll be doing

As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, safe, and compassionate nursing care, ensuring consistently high standards of clinical practice in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Council Code. You will lead on comprehensive patient and service user assessments, developing, implementing, and evaluating person-centred care plans that support both physical and mental health needs. Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, you will advocate for patients’ rights, provide guidance and supervision to junior staff and students, maintain accurate clinical records, and help foster a safe, supportive, and therapeutic care environment.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Active Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council in Mental Health Nursing
  • Minimum of 18 months post-registration experience in an Acute setting.
