An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nursing Associate to join the Outpatients team at Nuffield Health Woking Hospital. You will play a vital role within our multidisciplinary team, supporting the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. You will contribute to the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care, helping us maintain the exceptional standards our patients expect.
Woking Outpatients is a highly skilled, multidisciplinary department providing a wide range of specialist clinics and procedures from Monday to Saturday. To support the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care, staff are encouraged to develop a broad range of competencies, including phlebotomy, ECG recording, and strong IT skills. These skills enhance flexibility within the workforce and enable staff to effectively support the diverse needs of patients and clinical teams across multiple specialties.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care and thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Responsibilities- Provide care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, participating in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.
- Support safe, high-quality, person-centred care across outpatient services.
- Develop and demonstrate competencies such as phlebotomy, ECG recording, and IT skills to support clinical teams.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to meet patient and service needs.
- Demonstrate a flexible approach to working patterns and responsibilities.
- A Level 5 Nursing Associate qualification (Foundation Degree or Level 5 Diploma of Higher Education).
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Nursing Associate.
- Positive, proactive and professional approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced and evolving clinical environment.
