Palliative Care Nurse, Healthcare Nursing
At our hospice, every role plays a part in providing exceptional care and comfort to patients and their families. If you're caring, compassionate, and committed to making a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
We are looking for a compassionate, motivated and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our Inpatient Unit at Woking & Sam Beare Hospice and Wellbeing Care. This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality specialist palliative care to patients with life-limiting illness, while supporting families, carers and those close to them.
Working closely with the Inpatient Unit Manager and wider multidisciplinary team, you will help lead and support the ward team, promote excellent standards of nursing practice and contribute to a safe, caring and effective environment for patients, colleagues and visitors.
The successful candidate will be a registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience, strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering person-centred care. Experience of working within palliative care, oncology or a similar clinical setting would be desirable.
We welcome applications from candidates who share our values and are able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, including day, weekend and night shifts.
Interviews:
We will interview throughout the recruitment campaign and reserve the right to close this vacancy early if a suitable candidate is appointed. Early applications are therefore encouraged.
Every role contributes to the support we provide for patients, families, and our wider community. If you're interested in making a difference, we'd love to hear from you. For recruitment enquiries or application support, please email or call.
